Welcome!Movements really rise or fall on the strength of on-going social occasions - XP user group meetings, XP Days, XP and Agile conferences, and the Agile Open Conference are the epicenters of the agile movement. Agile Open conferences are Open Space events intended for software development and business people from all walks of life ... an amazingly open, warm and lively community space where people spark new insights in and relationships for collaborative (software) development and doing business together. ![]() Agile Open is meant for anyone with some degree of experience with an agile way of working. It is designed to allow agile practitioners to meet in self-organizing groups where they can share their latest ideas and challenges, hopes and wishes, experiences and experiments. We follow an Open Space format to foster collaboration and allow the conference to take its direction from the participants themselves - it's a peer to peer conference where you co-create the conference while it happens. So far, Agile Opens have taken place in Mechelen, Belgium and Portland, Oregon, in Hilversum, The Netherlands. The next one in Europe will be held in March, next to Strasbourg, France. |
